Crazy Binder Lady

I used to feel like a crazy binder lady when I went into Safeway with my binder of coupons...not anymore! I am livin' the coupon lifestyle and LOVING IT. Here is a picture of the shopping trip I went on today. 54 items. Guess how much? $33.00! I did the math before I left and everything I bought was about 1/2 the price of the item that I would have just bought at Costco but instead bought at Safeway. AND-I forgot $4 of coupons so it SHOULD have been $29. I know it is a lot of cereal but most of the cheerios were free and the rest were an average of .50 cents a box, and I know it will get eaten before it expires...I think I am set on cereal for the next year though; and fruit snacks. The best high though is seeing on my receipt that I saved %81.
15 boxes of cereal
2 boxes of potatos
3 cresent roll tubes
4 bbq sauces
1 frosting tub
2 boxes cake mix
1 tub of sour cream
4 boxes of Mac N Chz. .21 cents each! Costco .49 cents each.
2 bags chex mix
3 boxes of granola bars
10 boxes of fruit snacks
4 boxes of ritz crackers
3 bags of nuts

Very nice! I have been using alot of coupons also and have gotten some really great deals! I wish we had Albertsons and Safeway here.It seems like the grocery stores here don't have as many good deals.

Nice.. And Cereal doesn't really go bad until after they are opened, so they save decently well!
