the poo nap

I went this afternoon to Luke's room to get him up from his nap.

I walked into a very stinky room.

Upon further inspection I realized he had painted the crib, his toys, his dog, and himself with poo. Thus calling for an emergency bath, load of laundry, and full scale washing of all toys.

The first of 3 new posts...

Last week I thought it would be fun to go to the zoo. However, when we got there Kaleia thought it was a "better idea" to go to the play park across the street. This made me uneasy. At a zoo they would be contained in the stroller but a play park? Running around? and me alone? I tried to convince her the zoo would be more fun but I was told she would be the best little girl at this play park. So we went to the play park. It was cheaper and worst case scenario I thought we would leave fast and I would be out $8 bucks. So we went and...IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. They were both really good and Luke just fell once-well it was a tumble/summer-sault down a winding slide.

Helping me cook...

On this day I thought I'd be a good mommy and have my children help me make dinner. Something I never had Luke do before. Let's just say it was a good thought in theory. A hot stove, raw ingredients, 2 children, and NO COUNTER SPACE, are not a happy recipe. But they did look dang cute in their aprons and the next time I try both at once it will be a no-cook meal.

Luke's 2nd B-Day

We had a swim party for Luke's 2nd birthday! We had a yummy BBQ and made homemade ice cream for dessert.

Luke is so loving. He always wants a hug or to sit in your lap. He loves balloons and his little stuffed dog, which he is very attacted to. He likes to study things and has a very short attention span for learning. I will sit down and ask him questions (where is your ear? can you say...., etc.) and by my third question he tells me no and runs off to play. His favorite toys are his cars, espeacialy the loud ones, and the cars from the movie "Cars". He loves to be outside and still is putting EVERYTHING in his mouth; sand, dirt, bugs, etc.

"quote"

I know, I know it has been awhile. Don't worry I hope to catch up tonight on my blog, as soon as I download all my pictures on to my other computer....

QUOTE FROM KALEIA:
(I am on the phone talking to Jordan's mom)

G-MA: "I picked a whole bunch of cherry tomatoes for Kaleia today from my garden. I will bring them over later today."

ME: "Oh good, Kaleia will be in heaven."

KALEIA: "Mom, no! I don't want to die and go to heaven yet."
