How to train your dragon

Kaleia and I went to see this movie and I...LOVED IT! We watched it in 3D, a first for her and me. The first few minutes was hilarious with her trying to touch the movie. I kept seeing her out of the corner of my eye reaching out into thin air. I did feel bad for her because I had to get up twice to pee. Dang diet coke. Next time I am not allowed a drink. All in all this will be a movie I will buy when it comes out.
After wards she was very confused why we couldn't go to the pet store to get a dragon. She doesn't believe me that dragons are not real, and has asked every day since if we can go to a pet store to see if they carry dragons. Perhaps 3D is too realistic for her...

So Lei was a participant in the fun parade at Disneyland. Here she with a drum. She also was a dancing partner to a boy she apparently thinks she is married to, and apart of the congo line.

Vacation Post #1

Well, we went for a very fun, week long trip back to the O.C. Oh, how we missed it! Is it odd that it still feels like home? We only lived there for 4 years but every time we go back it just feels like home. We stayed in Newport Coast, in a beautiful time share courtesy of Jordan's parents; who were our neighbors next door. We ate at all of our favorites: Duke's, Wahoo's, The Crab Cooker, and Pei Wei's. We also for the first time took our kids to Disneyland. Although, I was informed later Kaleia's favorite part of our trip was the swimming pool at our condo; not the day at Disneyland. We had SUMMER weather of 80 degrees all week except the last day. So lots of fun laying in the sun near the pool and trips to the beaches.

Mom, that boy has a PONER

LET ME SET THE SCENE:
HARDWARE STORE
LUKE WINING
KALEIA BORED
HARDWARE BOY CAN'T FIND A BOX OF LIGHT BULBS
HAS BEEN SEARCHING FOR 8 MINUTES AT THIS POINT

KALEIA-MOM THAT MAN HAS A PONER
AT THIS POINT MY STOMACH FLIPS IN EMBARRASSMENT, YES HE HEARD HER AND QUICKLY WALKED TO THE NEXT AISLE. MY HEAD IS RACING, DID SHE REALLY JUST SAY WHAT I THINK SHE SAID! THERE IS NO WAY SHE KNOWS WHAT THAT IS! DOES SHE KNOW WHAT THAT IS?! WAS IT SAID ON FRIENDS OR SOME OTHER TV SHOW SHE OVERHEARD ME WATCHING FROM THE NEXT ROOM! SO I DO WHAT EVERY MOM DOES WHEN SHE DOESN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH SOMETHING...I IGNORE AND PRAY IT JUST GOES AWAY. COME ON NOW LADIES YOU KNOW YOU HAVE SEEN YOUR KID PICK A DROPPED CANDY OFF THE GROUND SO YOU JUST LOOK AWAY SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TAKE IT AWAY.

WELL SHE SAYS IT AGAIN LOUDER BECAUSE I APPARENTLY DIDN'T HEAR HER THE FIRST TIME.
KALEIA-MOM, THAT BOY HAS A PONER!
ME-NO HE DOESN'T, SILENTLY THINKING PLEASE STOP TALKING PLEASE STOP TALKING
KALEIA-YES HE DOES
ME-WHAT IS A PONER?
KALEIA-THE THING HE IS TALKING IN
ME-YOU MEAN THE WALKIE TALKIE?
KALEIA-YEAH, A WALKIE TALKIE IS A PONER
ME-SPEECHLESS AND THINKING CAN I ANNOUNCE OVER THE LOUD SPEAKER MY 3 YEAR OLD DOES NOT HAVE A POTTY MOUTH BUT HAD MADE UP A WORD FOR WALKIE TALKIE THAT SOUNDED VERY SIMILIAR TO ANOTHER WORD.

Sheets

So 3 weeks ago we splurged and got some nice sheets. 600 count. I have never bought more then 250 count. I LOVE my sheets. That being said-last week Kaleia spit hot chocolate all over them. She was in my bed at 3 am with a coughing spasm and I bent the rules and allowed hot chocolate upstairs to calm the cough...This morning-8 am-she threw-up 2 times on them. She obviously doesn't like my sheets.
