Wed. Nights

So the last few Wednesdays we have ventured downtown to the farmer's market. It is a lot of fun. We cruise the fruit/vege stands, get some kettle corn, listen to the music, play on the playground, and Lei's favorite...ride the bike powered carousal...twice! She usually picks to ride the frog although this last time she ventured out and rode the cow the second time.

I have decided today that I am too lazy to to write captions below each pic.

Here we are yesterday swimming. It was so dang hot! Even too hot for me to lay out more then 20 min., and hot enough for me to get my legs wet in the pool. (You all know I hate my hair and clothes/swimsuit to get wet. Odd I know...) Anyway here we are at my mom's pool and then we went over to my dad's pool. I posted a belly shot in all my swimsuit glory. Cute pic of the three of us, a cute shot of Lindsay and Lei, and my favorite so far is the last one...look closer at Lei's rear...is it a tail?...is it a shadow?...yes that is right I noticed it from across the pool and took a picture before I went in to change her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LEI!

HERE IS KALEIA THE MORNING OF HER BIRTHDAY. LEI HAD FUN AT HER PARTY THE DAY BEFORE AND WE HAD FUN TOO. IT ENDED UP BEING A PRETTY BIG MOTHER'S DAY AND BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.





WE HAD BURGERS TONS OF SIDE DISHES AND A YUMMY COSTCO CAKE.



I PUT SHAUN IN CHARGE OF TAKING PICTURES CUZ I WAS RUNNING AROUND SETTING UP AND JORD WAS MANING THE BBQ SO I DIDN'T GET TOO MANY PICS. I SHOULD HAVE ASKED A WOMAN TO DO IT. HEHEHE BUT THANKS TO SHAUN FOR THE PICS I DID GET AND I WILL JUST HOPE MY MOM TOOK A LOT I CAN GET FROM HER LATER.

Big Tummy Too!

I will post pics soon. I realize it has just been random words lately.

So today Lei and I were walking to the mailbox and she says, "Mom! Kia has a big tummy too!" As she leans back and sticks out her belly as far as possible for a two year old. I laughed out loud and realized that I really must be showing now.

Guess what my husband did!!??

Okay, so yesterday I say to Jord, "hey I need to get out of the house. Let's go to Cost Plus." (it is the only store in town) (no wait, there is a random free standing Gottchalks too) So we enter and he bee lines it to the back. Kaleia has informed me she would like to walk, she knows there are fun toys in low bins and drums she can pound on. We don't go there much but she remembers most places and when we pull up to a place we have been more then once she states what is inside. Anyway, back to the subject. So I think nothing of it, we are there on a search for an ottaman and they are in the back. So me and Lei make our way back there and search the furniture section. No Jord. Oh well lets go look at the toys...ok still haven't seen him, maybe the food section? So then I circle the store cuz I am ready to check-out. Can't find him...maybe he went to the car cuz he can't find us. So we check out and head to the car. No not in there. So I am in the middle of the parking lot feeling kinda lost. Well I think he must be inside. So we go back in. There he is! Coming to the door, I think oh how funny we kept going in circles trying to find eachother and kept missing eachother. When he gets close I realize his handprint is on his forhead, as if it had been there for a LONG time. Where were you?! He then tells me he found a sofa in the back corner facing the wall and decided to sit while I looked around and then he fell ASLEEP! He thought I would find him back there.

I really have no more words to say about this topic. Just I was so mad but also thought it was kinda funny too. Don't tell him I thought it was funny

One more thing...

I swore this pregnancy i would be good. no pizza, in-n-out, sugar, blah, blah, blah. but now that i am showing I feel what is the point? my will power has gone to the wayside and i am enjoying every bite. hehehe. i know i'll regret it come september but 'till then...YUM!

RandoM ThoughtS

1. I know we live in a "a natural" city, but please, running in the park without a bra can not be comfertable.

2. How come you can't buy Bath and Body Works lotion in large quanities? 8 oz. bottles just don't last long. And if you go one line to order (the store here doesn't carry the scent I like) they charge you soo much in shipping it is not worth it!

3. I have discovered the importance of good windows. The cost of double pane is very much worth it.

4. We are trying to cut down the cost of our "eating out" every month, and found making double of whatever I make for dinner and freezing the other half has done the trick. The nights I don't want to cook...dinner is already made.

5. I miss having BBQ all the time. Really need to make an effort and remember to get a new gas thingy for the BBQ. You all know there is no shopping in this town and we must go out of town to shop right?

6. Ok something positive about here...the bike trail and parks are great. I don't know of another town that has so many. There are over a dozen in walking distance from my front door that I know of.

BABY

Okay, so it is officially over...pants that don't have an elastic band that it is. Tried wearing a jean skirt with a button fly today and it was just too painful. So the maternity clothes are officially being used on a daily basis I think from now on. I had a good run, made it 21 weeks before I had to bust them out. Mind you I have gotten larger I just have a very full range of sizes from losing weight after Kaleia.

On another note I was in this really cute baby boutique and I go straight to the girl section and think, oh yeah I need to go to the boy section...MMM...I don't see a boy section. Maybe I am just not used to spotting it. So I walk the whole TINY store and find the boy section...ONE ROUND RACK! What the!!? I mean come on is this for real? I now know what what all my girlfriends with boys had been talking about. I really didn't think it was that big a difference in selection. So I am sorry for doubting you all. But, I must say that the little socks that they make for girls that are made to look like mary-jane shoes; well the boy ones that look like sneakers are just as cute.

Here are a few pics from this week. Kaleia loves hats and likes to wear one whenever she is playing. She also likes to be "naked Lei". She calls herself either Key-A-Ah or Kia or Key-A-Ah Nors or Lei.

Ramblings

1. So Lei pooped in the tub last week and I am not kidding I had JUST scrubbed it that morning; so I was a little upset. I kicked her out of the bathroom (after she was cleaned up) then shut the door and scrubbed the tub again. I think she knew I was really mad because now everytime she takes a bath she shakes her finger at me and says, "NO NO NO, No poop in the bubbles, poop potty."
2. She also has taken to going head first down the slides at the parks.
3. Anytime she is told no, what ever she wanted to do or see is, "night night." i.e.
Lei -please puppies (this would be she wants to watch 101 Dalmations)
Mom-no not right now
Lei-puppies night night
4. It is driving me nuts the way she wants to go up the stairs. Sideways thru the rails.
5. Anytime she gets hurt no matter what body part is involved it is always her leggy that hurts and that needs to be kissed.
6. Anytime she does anything physical she exclaims, "I did it!"
Anytime she points at something and names it, "I smart."
Anytime she finds something, "I find you!"
Anytime she gets out of her stroller to walk she runs and exclaims, "I a runner!"
7. I now have to sing to her in a monster voice, I guess she thinks it sounds better then my normal voice.
8. I am tired of 101 Dalmations and having to sing the song Cruella DeVil while on our walks. (of course in the monster voice)
9. She poops like clockwork, as soon as I turn the water off from my shower I hear, "Mom...I poop" then I say you pooped? "Yes..I poop princess. I stinky." Or in the morning she tells me she is the Pee Princess.
10. She gets a kick out of telling me she is going to poop in the potty then we sit on the potty for like 10 minutes while she sings to me. I think it is her way of getting my undivided attention.
11. Girl won't eat dinner at dinner time. Never hungery. She gets hungery at about 8 right before she goes to bed. Of course she won't eat at lunch either, she never wants to eat until after her nap.
12. Finally started eating shredded chicken. Is now the only meat she will eat.
Okay I am done rambling about Kaleia.

My job is going good, love the hours. Jord still likes his job and loves being able to come home for lunch everyday. Can't really thing of much else to say.
