Lei's Stiens Prize

So, we have been sitting on the potty for quite some time, just a minute before she gets in to the bath just to get used to it. So...on Monday after she got off I took her and showed her this Little Einsteins toy (it was supposed to go in her Easter Basket) and told her she could have it if she went potty in the potty. Well, after that she ran back to the toilet and sat for like a half hour until I begged her to get off. And since Monday that has been how it goes; sitting on the potty until I beg her to get off, while she tells me she is going to get a steins prize. So Friday night I leave Jord with her and she goes pee in the potty! Figures, I sit all week with her and miss the finale! So here she is with her prize.

Ok, this is a shout out to the Crayola company and all of it's terrific products. Espeacially the color wonder line. If you haven't tried them I suggest you do...fun for your kids and you!

no more chicka boom!

I am so sick of reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! Lei wants me to read it over and over and over again. "Please mama catcha boom boom!" I can now add this book to my list of memorized children's books! I think she likes it cuz she know all the letters...well almost all; still working on N, she thinks it is a M. But after that letter she will know the whole alphabet, and then we can start working on the sounds each letter makes.

A Pink Cake For V-Day!

So I was kind of bored and cake sounded good, so Lei and I decided to make our Valentine's Day Cake a few days early. She really likes to help me bake, so here she is in her apron...

Don't lick that!

Okay, so Kaleia is LICKING EVERYTHING! Trees, random people, stair banisters, rocks, etc. Anything she gets close to she licks and then says, Ew or Mmm...it's good. Most everything is good except people. I think because if she licks me I say ew.

She has all of a sudden got an increase of energy, so much so that she is driving me crazy. She only runs to where she is going and if she is standing in one place it is cuz she is dancing. I think because of all the rain we haven't gone on any walks so she has a lot of energy that she has not been able to burn. Work is going good, I like my new job and think we are going to be here for awhile. Yeah! because I am not moving again for some time.

Camera is still M.I.A.

I know I found the camera and now not sure where I put it so I wouldn't loose it. LOL. Still looking for places to put all of our stuff and slowly getting new funiture. We left all but one peice of livingroom furniture when we moved from Costa Mesa, and had to start over. Got a really good deal on our couch, it just needs some pillows to go on it. Our new townhouse is large but seems to lack cubboard and closet space. The bedrooms are where all of our square footage is at. Def. a college designed apartment. I think Kaleia likes it here. Although she is waking up nightly between the hours of 1-3 asking to eat. She must be going thru a growth spurt. Had to buy her new shoes cuz her shoes were "too tight!" We spent the mornig outside today because it was sunny! NO rain! So she helped me sweep away pineneedles from the walkways with her own red "sweep". She is going thru a Robin Hood phase, which is a nice break from the Jungle Book, she just loves anything with "amimals". We really need to take her to the zoo.

We Moved!

Well we moved to a new town. Don't really want to post the name, if you know us then you know where. I am now managing the apartment complex we are living at but the best news is that we are only 10 minutes to Jordan's work! Much better then his hour commute each way. Getting settled in to our new place. Have no idea where anything is! Couldn't tell you where our camera is, thus no pics until it is found. It has been a very busy week here at our new place so I have not had the time to unpack. Hoping it will be quieter next week. This weekend we have two out of town birthdays to attend so no unpacking will take place this weekend either. Haven't even had to time to check out our new town. Keep you all posted and will try to blog more often.

It's Skuck!

So Kaleia discovered a freckle on her left foot today. She became very frustrated that it would not come off. She kept trying to rub it off, pick it off like a sticker, and kept asking me for help to get it off. I told her it was permanently stuck but she does not yet believe me.
